This blog was created to aid students in writing and passing the ELA practicals. It contains technical reports and answers to the questions in your laboratory manual, that have been written by your predecessors who aced it at first try.
The ELA practicals as you would already know consist of different practicals at different levels. At the starting point – ie 200 level – every department does the same practicals (general ELA), which are the Mechanical, Electrical, and Production ELAs.
As from 300 level, all departments don't do the same ELA practicals any more; It now becomes one or two or even three, depending on the department, including your departmental ELA.
Each ELA practical contributes a certain percentage at each level for each department. At 200 level it is as follows
- Mechanical ELA - 25%
- Electrical ELA - 25%
- Production ELA - 50%
The mechanical and electrical ELAs though tedious both contribute a total of 50% which is equivalent to that of production ( which is arguably the easiest amongst the three ).
An overview of each of them are linked below
- Mechanical ELA
- Electrical ELA
- Production ELA
